How it works:
Advertising is in animated banner format in the prime top right hand
area of every page on the site. Each banner is a direct link to that advertiser's
own site. Each banner is on screen for approximately one minute before
changing. Banner-minutes are actual minutes your banner is on view to
each individual user. The more users logged on, the more banner minutes
served.

To further optimise 'opportunities-to-click' through to your site, for
just £200 per year in addition to your banner, you are entitled
to a 50 word description of your product or service and additional link
from our 'Advertisers' page. This includes a micro-site facility enabling
you to upload press releases and other important information directly
to your very own area of the site (this can even be linked in to your
own website to avoid duplication).
How many minutes do you need?
You would need approximately 50,000 minutes per month to ensure your
banner is being viewed somewhere at any given point in time. However,
we do recommend 10,000 minutes per month as the minimum for most advertisers.
Further frequency reduction may result in your banner not reaching some
users in a single session. In total around 60,000 banners are served each
day. Four months is the suggested minimum campaign duration.
Quantify your response:
A personalised password will give you access to your very own banner
statistics 'tracker' allowing you to monitor progress and effectiveness
of your campaign live online. This includes live statistics of:
- Banners Served / Followed
- Micro Site Served & Press Releases Served / Followed
- Total Campaign Statistics with Percentage Success Rate
Production Specification:
Banner size must be a 468 (width) x 60 (height) pixel file. They may
be .GIF or Flash (v4 or below) animations. The file must not exceed 20Kb
in size. On screen it will be approximately 15cm wide on a standard 15
inch monitor at 800 x 600 screen resolution.
